“After careful consideration and extensive evaluation of our organization's financial position, the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce will cease operations indefinitely, effective August 8, 2025.”
Member Transition
Current and active chamber members will be welcomed into the Greater Baltimore Chamber of Commerce and will be contacted by the new chamber leadership with additional information.
Founded in 1977, the Greater Baltimore Chamber of Commerce is a well-established organization with strong community roots.

Baltimore County’s Largest City Continues to Grow
Towson is the largest and most populous city in Baltimore County, continuing to see steady population growth thanks to the sustained expansion of major institutions such as Towson University, GBMC HealthCare, the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center, and Stanley Black & Decker.
Over the past decade, Towson has experienced significant growth, attracting young professionals, families, and businesses alike. 🛋️ La-Z-Boy Store Moves to Towson
La-Z-Boy has closed its store at 2301 York Road in Timonium, but customers will soon be able to shop for all their furniture needs down the road in Towson.
The furniture retailer will open a store the Goucher Commons shopping center in Towson at 803 Goucher Blvd. The shopping center is owned by Urban Edge Properties.
