Towson, MD - Friends of The Towson Library Book Sale Returns
Event Will Run From Wednesday, April 9, to Saturday, April 12
WHO: Friends of the Towson Library WHAT: Friends of the Towson Library brings back its annual book sale for the 28th year. There are books of all genres available, including a large selection of children’s books. Prices range from $1 to $5 Wednesday through Friday, with a $5-per-foot sale on Saturday. WHEN: The event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9, through Saturday, April 12. The full schedule is as follows: - Wednesday, April 9, noon to 7 p.m. Bulk pricing available; $5 a foot WHERE: The book sale will be held on the first floor of the Towson Branch, located at 320 York Rd., Towson, MD. WHY: Friends of the Towson Library holds the annual book sale to raise money for the Towson Branch. 2024's sale beat 2023's record, raising more than $21,000. These funds go to Towson Branch improvements, like new paint and powered tables; as well as programing, including Baby Craft Time, Black Business Fair and Teen Chill Time. |
