Towsonβs summer calendar is filling up quickly with live music, food festivals, family gatherings and community events that promise to bring energy and excitement to the area over the coming months.
One of the first major events on the schedule is for families looking for summer fun can head to the Splash Pad Family Luau at the Orokawa Y in Towson on May 29. The event promises an afternoon of family activities, water fun and community celebration as local families kick off the warmer weather season together.
Towsonβs music scene will also be front and center throughout the summer.
CVP Pub on West Pennsylvania Avenue continues to host a packed lineup of local live performances, creating a steady destination for residents looking to enjoy live entertainment downtown. Upcoming acts include The Seldom Heard, Junkyard Rabbits, MidLife Crisis, Will Hill and The Smatterings. The venue has become a consistent gathering place for Towsonβs local music community and continues attracting crowds for weekend performances.
The Recher is also bringing several highly anticipated shows to Towson this season. On May 29, Lez Zeppelin will perform βThe Song Remains the Sameβ in its entirety, giving classic rock fans an opportunity to experience a tribute to one of Led Zeppelinβs most iconic live performances. The venue will also host WTMDβs Greenberry Woods Record Release Party on June 5, adding another major live music event to the summer lineup.
Festival season officially ramps up with Weberβs Farm 10th Annual Strawberry Festival on May 30 and 31. The two-day event in nearby Parkville will feature fresh strawberries, seasonal treats, family activities and farm attractions. The annual festival has become a regional tradition and is expected to draw visitors from across Baltimore County and beyond.
Towsonβs downtown community events are also returning in full force. The Towson Farmers Market returns June 4 on Allegheny Avenue, offering fresh produce, baked goods and products from local vendors. The market remains one of Towsonβs most popular recurring community attractions and serves as a weekly gathering place for residents and visitors alike.
On June 5, Feet on the Street Towson will once again transform West Pennsylvania Avenue into a lively outdoor celebration filled with entertainment, dining and community activity. The event highlights downtown Towsonβs growing nightlife and small business scene while encouraging residents to explore local shops and restaurants.

Additional themed events throughout the summer include Orioles and MLB trivia brunch at The Point in Towson on June 13 and the Fatherβs Day Brunch Bash later that month. Looking further ahead, larger specialty events like Romantasy in the Valley and HallowMagic! at Padonia promise even more entertainment later in the year.
