🌊 Towson water main break leaves dozens of residents without water, DPW says
Baltimore's Department of Public Works reports that crews are repairing a sinkhole caused by a water main break that left dozens of nearby residents in Towson without water. DPW responded to an 8-inch water main break on Monday in the 1300 block of Brook Meadow Drive, which caused approximately 50 service outages.

In a 9-3 vote, Baltimore County’s school board approved Superintendent Myriam Rogers’ $2.98 million budget Tuesday night, despite the county executive’s promise that she wouldn’t fund it. Last month, Rogers warned the system would have yet another challenging budget season. Located at 6709 York Rd, in South Towson, Baltoz is owned and operated by two artists who graduated from MICA. Baltoz Bakery serves fine-crafted pastries but the focus on pizza makes this a must-stop. Check out the menu

🏃🏽 🏃🏼♀️ Towson Track & Field Eyes Victory at CAA Indoor Championships
Virginia Beach, Va. – The Towson University track & field team is set for the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Indoor Championships on Feb. 26 and 27 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Va. Last year, Northeastern women’s track and field team took home the title at the 2024 CAA Indoor Championships after accumulating 119.5 points. Elon took second place with 95 points and Campbell rounded out the podium in third with 90 points. Towson Track & Field finished in fourth place with 70 points – the highest finish for the Tigers in program history.
