It is hard to think of a local restaurant that has embodied the eclectic spirit of Baltimore, the way Nacho Mama’s has for the past 30 years. You could say that Nacho Mama’s represents Baltimore in a nutshell - or should we say “a hubcap”? Sadly, Nacho Mama's will officially close both its Canton and Towson locations on January 12, 2025, but you still have a chance to own a piece of Nacho Mama’s history by taking home a hubcap or by purchasing a farewell t-shirt on their website. Everyone seems to have a strong opinion about who makes the best pizza these days. So we set out to find out what the people’s choice is by conducting a very unscientific poll on the neighborhood app Nextdoor. We received a considerable response and after tallying up and adding in numerous “write-in” votes from the comments section, Vito’s emerged as the winner, garnering 27% of the votes. Vito’s edged out Pasta Mista who received 24% of the total votes.

Baltoz Bakery made a strong showing winning numerous write-in votes.
