Tee Up for The Arc Baltimore’s 32nd Annual Golf Tournament on May 11
The Tournament Supports Adults and Children with Developmental Disabilities
BALTIMORE, MD (2/25/26) --- Get ready to tee off for a day of fun, fellowship, and fairways when The Arc Baltimore hosts its 32nd Annual Golf Tournament, beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 11.
Whether you’re a seasoned golfer, just learning the game, or playing for the fun and camaraderie, every swing supports the programs and services The Arc Baltimore offers to support adults and children with developmental disabilities and their families.
To be held at The Country Club of Maryland (1101 Stevenson Lane in Towson, Maryland), The Arc Baltimore’s Annual Golf Tournament features a shotgun start at noon, preceded by registration and a putting contest at 10:30 a.m. and a pre-golf lunch, beginning at 11 a.m. Cocktails, heavy hors d' oeuvres, and the annual silent auction will follow the close of the tournament.
“The Annual Golf Tournament is easily The Arc Baltimore’s largest and most eagerly anticipated annual event, as one as one of our most successful fundraisers, contributing nearly $60,000 each year to programs and services which enable people with developmental disabilities to live independently, work in meaningful jobs, and enjoy friendships and activities in the community,” says Kathleen McNally Durkin, The Arc’s Chief Executive Officer.
Since 1949, The Arc Baltimore has supported people with developmental disabilities to lead fulfilling lives with a sense of belonging, purpose, and meaningful relationships. The Arc’s vision is a world where all people are valued, their voices are heard, and their impact is felt. With more than 700 full- and part-time employees, The Arc Baltimore provides employment training and support, day and residential services, family support and education, treatment foster care, assistive technology services, respite care, and public policy advocacy.
As in past years, the Annual Golf Tournament will feature many of the highlights regular participants have come to expect, from 18 holes of golf to exciting on-course contests to great food, drinks, and plenty of chances to win individual, team, and door prizes.
Golfers will also have a chance to enjoy The Country Club of Maryland, one of the few remaining golf courses in the Mid-Atlantic built during the golden age of architecture. Completed in 1925, the course features a layout of gentle, rolling terrain highlighted by streams and natural woodlands.
Sponsorship opportunities for the 32nd Annual Golf Tournament, ranging from $300 for a tee sign to $10,000 for the Presenting Sponsor level, are now open. Sponsors enjoy a wide range of benefits, including company logo recognition on-site throughout the tournament and in advance through event advertising, promotions, and social media.
So don’t delay. Now is the time to rally your foursome, mark your calendars, and plan on joining The Arc Baltimore for a day that makes an impact both on and off the green!
