Towson, MD – The Towsontown Spring Festival celebrates 55 years Towson, MD – The Towson Chamber of Commerce, Inc. is hosting the 55th Annual Towsontown Festival on Saturday, May 4th, from 10 a.m. -8 p.m. and Sunday, May 5th, from 1 p.m. -6 p.m. The festival will take place in downtown Towson, Maryland from York Road to Bosley Avenue and from Susquehanna Avenue to Allegheny Avenue.
With the help of over 100 volunteers, sponsors and many Baltimore County agencies, the Towsontown Spring Festival has turned into one of Towson’s most-remembered traditions- not only in our community, but all over Maryland and the East Coast. It is expected that approximately 100,000 visitors will attend the two-day event with more than 200 vendors.
The festival will feature a great lineup of local gourmet food trucks as well as a diverse array of Mediterranean, Latin, Asian and American cuisine. The food selection ranges from classic carnival foods to ethnic, gourmet delights, along with countless delectable sweets and everything in between. Throughout the festival, vendors will be showcasing and selling art, jewelry, handmade products, and other unique treasures.
The Towsontown Spring Festival is family-friendly and includes a range of entertainment from live music to dance performances, rides and games, and beer gardens. Guests can find the full entertainment lineup online at www.towsontownfestival.com.
Information Stage- The fun will kick off at the corner of Pennsylvania and Washington Avenue! Opening ceremonies will kick off the festival at 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 4th. Local organizations will be performing at the Information Stage throughout the weekend.
Plaza Family Fun Area - Carnival rides and games for all ages! The Family Fun Area is located behind PNC & M&T Bank on Pennsylvania Avenue. Entry to the Family Fun Areas is free; however ride tickets must be purchased at the festival. We also have a FREE farm animal education area when children can get up close with animals you find on a farm. Schedule for the farmyard talk can be found on the festival website.
Patriot Plaza Stage - Our beer garden will be located at the newly renovated Patriot Plaza, located between the Towson Circuit Court building and the Historic Old Courthouse. Live music includes performances by That’s What She Said, Vertigo Red and Crushing Day on Saturday. Doc Marten & the Flannels and Kelly Bell Band on Sunday! Visitors can kick back, relax, and enjoy some delicious grub and live entertainment!
Parking rates will be adjusted by the county, and all county lots surrounding the festival will charge $5 per day. Bring your family and friends along to join in celebrating the 55th Annual Towsontown Spring Festival! For more information please visit
