There are 54 multi-space meters utilizing 'Pay by Plate' technology that cover 377 spaces.  An additional 289 single space meters can be found in Towson as well for a total of 666 spaces. The rate for all On-Street Parking in Towson is $2.00/hr with a general MAX time limit of 3 hours and the hours of enforcement are generally between 8AM and 6PM Monday through Saturday with the following exceptions: 

A. Washington Avenue The meters on the 400 and 500 blocks have a 30 min. time limit; the multi-space meters on the 300 block have a 1 HR time limit, and the meter on the 200 block has a 2 HR time limit.

B. Allegheny Avenue (from Washington to Bosley Avenues): These meters have a 2 hour maximum time limit.

C. Ware Avenue These meters have a 2 hour maximum time limit and are enforced from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

D. W. Chesapeake Avenue (in front of the post office and the Jefferson Bldg): These meters have a 30 minute maximum time limit.

E. W. Susquehanna Avenue (in front of The Palisades): The multi-space meter on Susquehanna Avenue (101SU) in front of the Palisades Apartments has a 2 hour maximum time limit.

F.  West Towson All meters west of Bosley Avenue have a 2 hour max stay period with the exception of the meters on Central Avenue that have a 4 hour max stay period.

G.  Cross Campus Drive All meters have a 4 hour max stay period and are enforced from 7AM to 6PM Monday through Friday.

Allegheny Avenue Lot

21 Allegheny Avenue

The Allegheny Avenue parking lot is located at 21 Allegheny Avenue. The lot is a “Pay by Plate” parking lot with 32 available parking spaces. Two multi-space pay stations on the lot accept coins and credit cards for making payments. All parking spaces in this lot have a 3 hour time limit and the fee is $2.00 per hour. There are two spaces reserved for Handicap parking. Parking is enforced from 8AM to 6PM, Monday through Saturday.

Berry Lot

35 Allegheny Avenue

The Berry Parking Lot is located at 35 Allegheny Avenue and has 14 metered parking spaces. The lot is located directly next to the Banditos. The single space meters on this lot accept coins and credit cards for making payments. The time limit for the spaces in this lot is 3 hours and the fee is $2.00 per hour. Parking is enforced from 8AM to 6PM, Monday through Saturday.

East Towson Lot

(E. Pennsylvania Ave. & Delaware Ave.) The East Towson Parking Lot is located at 5 East Pennsylvania Avenue. The lot is a “Pay by Plate” parking lot with 70 parking spaces. The multi-space meter pay station on this lot accepts coins and credit cards for making payment. Two On-Street multi-space meters located adjacent to the lot on Pennsylvania and Delaware Avenues can also be used for paying for parking on the lot. All parking spaces in this lot have a 3 hour time limit. The fee is $2.00 per hour. Parking is enforced from 8AM to 6PM, Monday through Saturday. There are two spaces reserved for Handicap parking on the East Towson lot. The parking lot also has two EV (electric vehicle) charging station spaces available for public use, for a separate fee.

Restaurant Rate -- $2.00 for the first 3 hours and $1.00 for every additional hour.  In addition, there is a lunchtime discounted rate for restaurant customers between the hours of 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM Monday through Sunday.  This rate is $1.00 for the first three hours and $1.00 for every additional hour as long as the time of entry is between those hours. Parking patrons are limited to the use of one validation per visit. Once you have parked, TAKE YOUR TICKET WITH YOU TO HAVE YOUR TICKET VALIDATED. Payment can be made by cash or credit card although only credit card payment is accepted at the exit gate. Cash is only accepted at one of several Pay Stations located throughout the garage and inside the movie theatre.

​Entrances/Exits

There are three entrances/exits to this garage. Level 1 is off Towson Row and directly across from the entrance to Whole Foods. Levels 2 & 3 are off W. Chesapeake Avenue. Levels 1 and 2 are restricted to customers and staff of Whole Foods and the liquor store 'Uncorked', which is on the corner of Towson Row and W. Susquehanna Avenue. Level 3 is primarily for registered monthly parking customers/residents of the Altus & York student apartment complexes.

Levels 1 and 2 share 278 parking spaces while Level 3 contains 169 spaces.

The daily rate to park on either Level 1 or 2 is $12 for the first hour, and then $3 per hour every additional hour, with a daily maximum rate of $30.
