Calm within the storm, Traffic Make Over Coming, Local Live Music, High School Sports

Hello Towson,

As March Madness fades and general/market madness persists,
let’s all remain calm and focus on the things we can control in life,
and perhaps heed the wise words of Rudyard Kipling:

“If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too”

 - The Opening Lines of Rudyard Kipling’s “A Father’s Advice to His Son”

💐 Vicki Brick-Zupancic, CEO of Brick Bodies Fitness,
dies of ovarian cancer

Remembering Vicki Brick-Zupanic

Vicki Brick-Zupancic, CEO of the Baltimore-based Brick Bodies Fitness Services chain, has died after a years-long battle with ovarian cancer, her family announced Wednesday. She was 43. The Towsontown Torch extends our deepest condolences to the Brick family and all of those who knew and loved Vicki.

“I used to play pick-up hoops regularly with Vicki at Brick Bodies, back in the day. Guarding her was no easy task, nor was it easy getting crossed over by a “girl”, but then again, it was THE Vicki Brick! Vicki was a true inspiration to all of us, whether it was in sports, business, or life. Thank you for setting the bar so high, your legacy will certainly live on”. - Chris Forhan, Publisher
