Towson/County News
Baltimore County police hope to gather public input on a program allowing drones to be used as first responders.
Public input is sought about using drones in the “Drone as First Responder Program.” The initiative aims to enhance public safety and emergency response capabilities using drones. Attendees will be able to see the technology up close, with live demonstrations and discuss safeguards to protect privacy. Other jurisdictions in Maryland use drones to assist police, but not as first responders.
