Newly Released Ads on Apple Maps Could Give Towson Businesses a Powerful New Way to Reach Customers

When Towson visitors and residents search for a nearby restaurant, store or service, Google is no longer the only place where local businesses need to be visible. 

Apple has started introducing advertising in Apple Maps, creating a potentially valuable opportunity for Towson businesses to reach customers precisely when they are deciding where to eat, shop or visit. 

Apple Maps ads can appear at the top of relevant search results and within the app’s “Suggested Places” section. A Towson restaurant could promote itself when someone nearby searches for “dinner near me.” A boutique could appear when a shopper looks for gifts, while a salon could reach someone searching for a last-minute appointment. -Read Full Article

One of the area's biggest end-of-summer parties returns with 30+ food trucks, 10 bands on two stages and dozens of local vendors. The music lineup includes Several Species: The Pink Floyd Experience, Kelly Bell Band, Jah Works, Doc Marten and the Flannels, Crushing Day's 90s lineup and more. There will also be a mechanical bull, rock climbing wall and bounce houses. Parking is free, and kids 12 and under get in free.
