👮🏾 👮🏻‍♂️ State Grant Provides Towson with Security Guards
to Provide Extra Watch in Towson

Thanks to a grant from the State of Maryland, The Towson Chamber was able to hire
two security guards to walk around Uptown Towson, five days a week.

🐐 Towson University Uses Goats to Clip Grass

Friends of the Towson Library brings back its annual book sale for the 28th year. There are books of all genres available, including a large selection of children’s books. Prices range from $1 to $5 Wednesday through Friday, with a $5-per-foot sale on Saturday.

Friends of the Towson Library holds the annual book sale to raise money for the Towson Branch. 2024's sale beat 2023's record, raising more than $21,000. These funds go to Towson Branch improvements, like new paint and powered tables; as well as programing, including Baby Craft Time, Black Business Fair and Teen Chill Time.
